Why am I not seeing the change take effect?
Try refreshing (CTRL-R) your browser window. Please note that there are occasions that delay seeing updates, such as new domain names that aren’t yet resolving to the server. We will do our best to perform your updates usually within one business day and we normally reply with a confirmation email.
My Website is down - why am I not seeing it?
The first thing to check is your domain name renewal date. We see a lot of expired credit card issues or missed renewal dates. If we are experiencing a server outage, we will notify you. Or, if we are performing server maintenance, we will notify you several days in advance.
Why am I not receiving emails?
The first thing to check is your junk or spam folder. Try locating that to see if your email client has moved your incoming emails to the junk folder.
Setting up new email accounts
When we create a new email address for you, we will always send the connection credentials and instructions with your order. Many email apps automatically set connections once you enter your account and password.
How long does my site take to get into search engines?
Please allow 90 days. While this length may vary, it’s always a good idea to let search engines index your site at their leisure.
Does my site content automatically get read by AI?
The plugins we use on your site, such as Yoast SEO, automatically provide readable snippets for AI summaries.
I have received a domain listing invoice for several hundred dollars - what is this about?
Much spam arrives in our mailboxes. These are almost always solicitations for unnecessary services such as “domain listing” or “special transfer renewals.”
What’s crazy is, they’re listing your domain name and the invoice looks legit – BUT IT ISN’T.
Our hosting service statements arrive yearly, on the anniversary of your go-live date, and clearly itemize your hosting charges.
Do you manage domain names?
We will manage your domain name by special arrangement only. However, we recommend that you use a reputable domain registrar such as misk.com
How do I go about getting my website updated?
Just email us the changes. Please attach any images or links in your email. Describe your changes and we’ll update your site within one business day.
If the changes are substantial, we may send mockups for your approval before taking the changes live.
